ABOUT ME

Hello, My name is Taira Creager.

I am a multimedia artist passionate about illustration, printmaking, and fiber art. My work is often nostalgia-inspired and uses bright colors, patterns, and textures to create pieces that are chaotic, joyful, and fun. Some of the things I look to for inspiration include anime, cartoons, videogames, the 70s, 80s, and 90s aesthetics, and pop culture. I have a combination of original and fan art.
I also enjoys making zines (small press publications). My zines often reflect on small moments of life or are filled with fun and cute illustrations.

Education:
I attended Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University to pursue a degree in art. In 2019, I received my B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Printmaking. I now lives in the Portland metro area where I now continue my art practice.
